Dreamers by Philip Pemberton has a mystical, spiritual quality to it.

Autobiographical, this album speaks of hearbreak and lost love. Something which all of us have experienced at least once and for some of us, many times. Philip bares his soul and puts into words for us how this heartbreak feels. With an oustanding vocal range and blues background (the soul of this music), all of the songs on this album will speak to your heart.

Fly is about Philip's grandmother and speaks of what may be one of our greatest fears. "Lord, don't let me die lonely." His response is "Lord don't let her die lonely, I'm right here, I'm right here" says for us what we too wish to say to our loved ones "I'm right here; you're not alone."

The gospel tones of Crazy World speak for us when we realize what we have failed to do or be. "Lord...I'm not the child that I used to be. I know I'm not the man that you want to see. This truth has become my reality."

Rhythm I believe reflects the soul and heart of this artist. "I've got the rhythm of the music, feeling of the music and it's running through me.

"Though I've been here before I make the same mistakes every time" (while probably not the intent of the artist, this speaks to me of the many incarnations we have experienced on earth and how we tend to repeat our experiences until we learn the lessons.) "I guess it's all part of being human, all part of some grand design." (Our design — God's design — planned when we are on the spiritual plane between incarnations.)

Dreamers — "...held the sunrise between my fingers, clapped my hands and new worlds were born" (This speaks to me of the vision of our raised consciousness — of the ultimate creative ability we will all someday remember — we are the creators; we will create new worlds.)
