Music from the Heart and Soul

Third Stream is the first release by the group Osuna, on the Cross Currents label.

I started going to the studio in July of 1994 and I was just toying around with some ideas. Some songs were written previously, but most of them were developed while in the studio. This formula turned into an addiction, and as a result seventy-five percent of this CD was finalized during the recording process.

Most of the melodies and structures were created minutes before taping. My wish was to make music that was palatable to the non-musician, that also has substance and longevity. And although the music changes from rock to Arabic to Caribbean to Flamenco, I think it all follows the same fine thread.

In creating this album, I wanted to move people. Hopefully, this music will allow people to visualize colors, pictures, different languages, and visions...and open some doors which may have been locked. Peace..." — Tomi
