My artwork reflects the feeling and emotions I have about the world and life. When I take my photographs, I usually have in mind that I will someday paint the scene before me. Sometimes
I just take the photos to capture the moments that intrigue me.
The camera freezes a moment of beauty — a memory that I want to keep forever no matter where I am. Our world is such a precious place, yet too often we are so wrapped up in our everyday lives that we don't stop and notice these moments. Whether I am traveling to faraway places on vacation, visiting my home in the Southwest, or marveling at the splendor in my own back yard, I can treasure these memories for a lifetime.
As we wind our way through our lives, I hope my photographs will encourage others to stop for a moment and savor the small delights which surround us — these precious moments of beauty.
